Corvid Contacts End User License Agreement

1. License Grant

Subject to your compliance with this Agreement, Licensor grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App on devices you own or control, solely for your own personal use.

2. Restrictions

You may not:

• Sell, rent, lease, sublicense, distribute, or otherwise transfer the App (as compiled and distributed through an app store) to any third party;
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App, except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by applicable law;
• Remove, obscure, or alter any proprietary notices included with the App;
• Use the App to build or distribute a competing product or service;
• Circumvent any technical limitations in the App, including licensing or payment mechanisms.

3. Source Code

Portions of the App's source code are made available publicly under the PolyForm Noncommercial License 1.0.0. That license governs what you may do with the source codeitself (viewing, modifying, and using it for noncommercial purposes) and is separate from this Agreement. Regardless of the source code's license, the compiled App distributed through Google Play or any other app store remains subject to this Agreement, including the purchase price and the restrictions in Section 2.

4. Ownership

The App, including all intellectual property rights in it, is and remains the property of Licensor. This Agreement does not grant you any ownership interest in the App.

5. Purchases

If the App is offered for a fee, that transaction is processed by the app store you install it from (e.g., Google Play), and is subject to that store's own terms and refund policies in addition to this Agreement.

6. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by the Corvid Contacts Privacy Policy, which describes how the App handles your data.

7. Updates

Licensor may release updates to the App from time to time. This Agreement applies to all updates unless a different agreement accompanies a specific update.

8. Termination

This license is effective until terminated. It will terminate automatically without notice if you fail to comply with any term of this Agreement. Upon termination, you must stop using the App and delete all copies of it.

9. Disclaimer of Warranty

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL LICENSOR BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP.

11. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising under this Agreement shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Luis Obispo County, California.

12. Changes to This Agreement

We may update this Agreement from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above.
